Former Barnstaple manager picks up the reins from Ross Middleton

ILFRACOMBE Town have announced Tom Bulley as their new first team manager.

Bulley, who was the manager at Barnstaple Town for the first half of last season, takes over from Ross Middleton, who successfully kept the team in the Toolstation Western league Premier division this season.

“We have had many new and experienced managers interested in the position, however the compelling factor was the ambition and enthusiasm that Tom has displayed throughout the application and interview process,” said club co-chairman Matthew Hayne.

“Add to this, the UEFA B Licence that he holds, his contacts and experience, I am certain that Tom is the right person and will be a success with us.”

Kevin Darch will continue as assistant manager for the 2014-15 season.

The club revealed in a statement that “we would like to place on record that we are grateful for all the interest shown since Ross stepped down.”
