PUTFORD Reserves hit double figures against Chittlehampton Reserves to go second in the North Devon Gazette Intermediate Two table.

But there was no let up at the top as Barnstaple FC Reserves beat Anchor Chiefs Reserves 5-1. Gavin May came off the bench to score the only goal for the defeated Chiefs.

Woolsery Reserves were also in the goals, eventually notching seven after going 1-0 down in the match at South Molton Reserves.

Ben Sladden supplied the cross to assistant player manager Dave Read, who struck the ball sweetly into the back of the net just two minutes after the first whistle.

Woolsery equalised 20 minutes later and things stayed that way until the game swung with two penalty kicks.

With the Images rocked, the visitors went on to score three more.

Adam Harris scored the only goal of the game as Lynton and Lynmouth Reserves picked up their first win of the season at North Molton Thirds.

Dan Doodman scored the winner for Braunton Fourths five minutes from time to bag all three points against Hartland Reserves.

Alan Woocock had earlier opened the scoring before Dominic Allin equalised for Hartland.

It was Woocock’s turn to hit the winner on Sunday as Braunton snatched a single-goal Hansen Cup victory against Fremington Reserves 12 minutes from time.
