Northside Atlantic withdraw from North Devon League

Archant

Northside Atlantic have withdrawn from the North Devon Gazette Football League.

The decision was made by the club due to a lack of committed players, with their fixtures and results so far this season taken out of consideration in Intermediate One.

Intermediate one is now down to just 14 teams after Buckland Brewer were forced to withdraw for similar reasons earlier in the season.

League Secretary Mick Tattersall said: “It was very sad news to lose a young club that had always been good in the league.”

Former Northside players are free to sign for other clubs, but must ensure that any debts to the club are paid off first.
