It wasn’t a complete washout across the North Devon Football League on Saturday, but it was close.

Football across the North Devon Football League was something of a washout at the weekend, as Storm Brian wiped out almost all of the fixtures.

Only eight games lasted the full 90 after a raft of postponements.

In the Premier, Torridgeside Reserves and Ilfracombe Town Reserves braved the conditions at Donnacroft.

The two sides shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw, with Rory Paine scoring for the home side and Ray Squire netting for the visitors.

The Premier’s other match saw Shamwickshire Rovers beat Shebbear United 7-0.

In the Senior, Pilton Academicals’ reward for making the trip to Kilkhampton was a 5-1 win and a move up to second place.

Lloyd Harvey-Bryant scored a hat-trick in the win for Accies, with Ben Paul and an own goal adding to the total.

Braunton Reserves were big winners at second-from-bottom Georgeham and Croyde, taking all three points in an 8-1 win.

Thomas Heard scored five times in the win. Adrian Ashton also netted, as did Charlie Crane and Kieran Goddard after coming off the bench. Taylor Latham scored for the home side.

Torrington Reserves kept up their 100 per cent record in Intermediate One with a 3-2 win over Bridgerule.

Jack Kirby pounced on a loose ball to get the winner for the second week in a row.

Shain Romero scored for the Greens in the first half before Josh White headed them in front after half-time.

Todd Peschke and Dean Wickett scored for Bridgerule.

Holsworthy Reserves are fourth after a 6-2 win over bottom-of-the-league Barnstaple Reserves.

Scoring goals for the Magpies were Olti Arriku, Bradley Birch, Jack Greening and Ian Rowe. Ace Jacob came off the bench to get a brace.

Tyler Leworthy and substitute Lewis Turnbull scored for Barum.

Braunton Thirds got their third win of the season with a 3-0 win over Northam Lions.

In Intermediate Two, Appledore Thirds’ game against Hartland Clovelly Thirds wasn’t able to go the duration, with the match abandoned.

Braunton Fourths and Bradworthy Reserves did manage to play a full game, with Braunton 5-1 winners.
