Ilfracombe edge 3-2 win against Anchor Chiefs.

COLIN Woodcock scored all three goals for Intermediate One leaders Ilfracombe Town Thirds in a 3-2 win against Anchor Chiefs.

‘Combe went 1-0 down and then 2-1 up before the sides went in two-a-piece at the break. Woodcook scored the winner with a second half goal on the break.

Second-placed Barnstaple FC put five past Clovelly without reply, Tom Nash leading the line with a brace of goals.

There were singles for Kirk Lace, Stuart McKinnon and Tony Burgess.

Stu Haynes scored a hat-trick on his season debut for Woolacombe & Mortehoe in a 6-1 win at High Bickington.

Paddy Weathers hit one from long range and there were further goals for defenders Michael Whipp and Matt Lambert.

Braunton Thirds beat Equalizers 2-0 with goals by Luke Oliver and a deflected Steve Penrose shot.

Chris Smailes and Steve Robinson both scored for Northam Lions Reserves in a 2-2 draw with Barnstaple AAC Reserves.

In other matches, Northside Atlantic beat Landkey 4-2 and Torridgeside Reserves beat Hartland 4-1.
