Woolacombe and Mortehoe 0-3 Hartland

HARTLAND are the new Arlington Cup champions after beating Woolacombe and Mortehoe in Sunday’s final.

Hartland, who beat the reserve teams of Barnstaple AAC and FC as well as Clovelly on their way to the final, blew their opponents away to earn a convincing 3-1 win in the final.

League form suggested it would be a tight game, but it was the lower-placed side who came away with the win.

Richard Davey was named man of the match after leading Hartland to victory with a fine performance.

This weekend, the Combe Martin Cup will be decided, as Braunton Reserves face Barnstaple FC in what promises to be a high quality match.

The sides kick off at 6.30pm on Saturday at Combe Martin’s ground.
