Local building supplies company offering £1,000 of materials to one lucky North Devon sports club

A BUILDING supplies company is offering local sports clubs the chance to bag £1,000-worth of materials to boost their facilities.

Barnstaple-based RGB Building supplies has launched its ‘community fund’, and is asking local sports clubs to tell them what help they need.

Rob Allen, Operations Manager at RGB, said: “Following the launch of the community fund, we were inundated with charities making contact and telling us about their projects.

“It was extremely difficult to choose just one winner, and we are certain that it will be the same with sports clubs.”

Sports clubs can nominate themselves by contacting RGB Building Supplies and explaining what project they need building materials for and how the support will be of benefit to them. One sports club will then be chosen from all the nominations to receive £1,000 worth of materials.

Nominations can be made by emailing RGB@pmwcom.co.uk or by sending a letter to PMW Communications, RGB Community Fund, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU. The closing date for nominations is Monday, August 4.

The Community Fund will also be supporting schools, community groups and care homes, who will be asked to make contact with details about their projects in the future.
