The Robins picked up their second draw in two days in Division One South and West
Bideford rounded off their weekend with a well-earned draw at Taunton Town.
The Robins drew 0-0 with the Peacocks on Easter Monday at the Viridor Stadium.
For manager Sean Joyce, it was a game his side should have won.
“We were the better team and had the better chances and over the 90 minutes we deserved to win,” he said.
“Don’t get me wrong, they were and they are a very good team and we had to put a good show on.
“They had a massive chance in the first 20 seconds, but after that we looked at the dangers, we tweaked things and fair play to them they listened.
“It settled down and we were the better team.
“0-0 sounds like a rear-guard performance but it really wasn’t. We were dominant and we should have won by two or three.
“We had a fair goal and it was disallowed and the keeper has pulled off three or four great saves off, and on a different day it could have been a much different result.”
The draw at Taunton follows a 1-1 draw with Evesham United on Saturday, another team bound for the play-offs.
Ben Watson gave the Robins the lead after 19 minutes with a left-footed finish, before a deflected shot from Radley Watkins levelled things up for Evesham.
“We’ve taken points off every team in the top five,” said Joyce, speaking after Monday’s game.
“We were the better team on Saturday and we were the better team today, but it’s about consistency – doing it week in, week out.”
