The Robins were 8-0 winners at the Sports Ground on Sunday.

Bideford Ladies continued their quest for a first Devon Women’s Premier League title with an 8-0 win at home to bottom-of-the-league Plainmoor.

The Robins knew a win and three points would put them in pole position with one league game left.

They raced into a four-goal lead in the first 20 minutes, with Beau Dennis and Caz Parsons both netting two each.

Parsons – who was awarded player of the match – assisted Alicia Martin for the fifth before half-time.

In the second half, Rohanna Little brought down a ball from Dennis before firing past the keeper to make it 6-0.

Lucy Clements added the seventh after a driving run and through ball from Sarah Short was put in her path.

Alice Berry rounded off the scoring with a volley from inside the 18-yard box.

The Robins are at home again on Sunday, with a league cup semi-final against Tavistock.
