APPLEDORE stretched their run to eight matches unbeaten in Division One East this year.
But they were denied victory when they conceded two late goals to be held 2-2 at Stoke Gabriel.
The Fishermen started in ominous style and Mark Clarke put them ahead after 25 minutes.
Five minutes before the break and they were 2-0 up when Nick Fishwick fired home a long-range shot. With the scoring remaining the same and just seven minutes of play remaining another win looked a near certainty.
But Stoke refused to give up and were rewarded when they pulled one back with a good shot from the edge of the box. The homesters continued to push and two minutes into stoppage time they grabbed the equaliser with a a near 20-yarder.
