Entries open for Swimbridge 10k

Multi-terrain event is back for a sixth year

THE popular Swimbridge 10k and 3k Fun Run is now in its sixth year and will take place on the morning of Sunday, May 18.

Both the 10k (adults) and the 3k (children) are excellent runs with superb scenery, a variety of terrains and a great atmosphere.

This year the organisers are delighted to have teamed up with North Devon Road Runners and for the first time this event is affiliated to the ARC. Davisons Chartered Accountants have also come on board again for the third year and sponsored the event, which means all the profit will go to charity.

North Devon Road Runner organiser Simon Haywood said: “Swimbridge is a great course – it has every terrain you can think of, and North Devon Road Runners are really pleased to be associated with it”.

The 3k Fun Run starts at 10.30am and the 10k starts at 11.30am. Winners of the 12 different categories will receive a trophy and medal.
