Redditch United 3-1 Bideford
Bideford lost back-to-back Calor Southern League Premier games for the first time this season after a 3-1 defeat at Redditch United on Monday night – and finished the game with only eight players.
Stephen Reed, Craig Duff and Ian Sampson all saw red as the Robins fell to their first away defeat of the season.
Bideford went behind in the 52nd minute when Eminoglu struck to put the home side ahead, but despite being a man down at this stage were able to hit back almost immediately via a Matt Hockley spot kick.
Biddy’s depleted numbers showed great resolve to stay in the game and could well have picked up a point, until the referee awarded Redditch a penalty with four minutes to play, sending off Sampson in the process.
Eminoglu stepped up to put his side back in front, and the defeat was confirmed in the final moments through Hylton’s effort.
The defeat sees Bideford drop to fifth, now 12 points behind league leaders Hemel Hempstead.
They will hope to get back on track on Saturday, when they host Hitchin Town.
