Appledore chalked up a comfortable 2-0 Division 1 East win at Marshford over visiting Plymstock United.
The Fishermen secured their victory with a goal in each half.
A bright start saw Seth Hodorowski twice go close for the home side before Mark Cann met a cross from Sam Fishwick to head in at the far post after 30 minutes.
Appledore continued on top and deservedly doubled their lead midway through the second half when Hodorowski headed home after a pass into the box from Nick Glover.
There could have had more, with both Cann and Keith Shapland coming close as the Fishermen maintained thier dominance to the end.
