Braunton’s hopes of reaching the Torridge Cup semi-finals came to an end at Hatherleigh on Sunday.
A ‘bare bones’ Braunton side were on the back foot from the start after their Devon and Exeter League hosts scored in the opening two minutes and they finally lost out 3-0 to Hatherleigh goals by Luke Reynolds (2) and a Dean Rice penalty.
