Bideford AAC runners head as far afield as Amsterdam and Birmingham
A smattering of Blues runners were in action this weekend, picking up some excellent results in an array of events.
Steve Gallienne finished 31st in the Birmingham Great Run half marathon in a time of 1hr 17mins.
In the Abingdon Marathon, Jim Murray completed the course in 2:57:20, while Tim Calcutt came home in 4:18:21.
Eric Hubber was second in his category at the Amsterdam Marathon, just squeezing under five hours, while two Blues members competed at the Exmoor Stumble.
Martin Colwill finished the tough seven-miler in fourth in 49:36, and Alan Heard was second in his category in 1:05:56.
Five runners went to the Eden Project in Cornwall for a cross-country half marathon, with Brent Colvin the fastest in 1:33:06 to claim 21st overall and 3rd in his category. Robbie Murray (1:43:44), Sara Colvin (1:55:04), Lisa Cetinkaya (1:57:28) and Kim Jenkin (2:15:35) also completed the testing course.
