Bideford club host 82nd Annual Tournament

Bideford Bowling Club got their share of thrills at the 82nd Annual Tournament earlier this month.

In the final of the Mens pairs, Bideford managed to land a comeback victory, after falling ten points behind in the first ten ends.

Other highlights included the Ladies final between the Bideford Victoria Park Bowling Club and their opponents from Torrington, ending in a very close victory for the Bideford team.

The tournament saw competitors from Scotland, Norfolk, Romford, Weymouth and Nottingham flock to the Bideford green, with some 200 people watching the finals last Saturday.
