Top darts player coming to Conservative club in March

PDC darts player Ronnie Baxter will feature at an exhibition evening in Bideford next month.

Baxter will take on 22 hopefuls over one 1001-point leg at the Conservative Club in Bideford on March 11, with an exciting evening including a question and answer session planned.

But the event won’t just be about being trounced by one of the world’s top 20 players, as Baxter is famed for showing off exceptional skills such as covering the board with a sheet of paper and still hitting doubles.

Tickets are just £2 and are available in advance from the club, with the evening kicking off at 7.30pm.

Organiser Ian French is also hopeful of making this an annual event with more of the world’s top players coming to the area should the evening prove a success.
