Northside Atlantic are the North Devon representatives in the Devon Intermediate Cup semi-finals after beating Hartland 1-0 in the area final on Saturday.
In a game of two penalties, Northside scored while Hartland missed.
Hartland keeper Josh Wood made a double-save from Matt Cann before Northside captain Neil Armstrong scored from the spot.
Northside’s Shaun Wilson was shown a straight-red but Hartland rarely tested Northside keeper Dan Barnes.
On 80 minutes Hartland’s Alex Slee – who had previously knocked in 17 out of 17 attempts from the spot – hit the post.
Northside held out for the final few minutes and the winners’ shield was presented to their captain Neil Armstrong.
There was a minute’s silence before the game in honour of Mike Stevens and his work for North Devon football. Mike was well known to both teams and Northside dedicated their win to him.

in the Torridge Cup Shamwickshire Rovers made progress through the first round of the Torridge Cup on Sunday with a 2-1 win away to Ashwater.
James Bateman and Adam Halling were the Shammy scorers.
