Bideford boxer wins tenth pro fight on the bounce

TOMMY Langford took his unbeaten win to 10 fights with a devastating stoppage victory over Nicky Jenman at the Wolverhampton civic hall.

Jenman should have proved a step up, having won his last three fights including a win over former British champion Max Maxwell, but Langford handled him with ease.

Bideford boxer Langford won the first round, showing great control with his work, not wasting any punches and landing solid shots to stamp his authority on the bout.

Langford stepped up a gear in the second with a dominant round, finishing it with a strong combination and leaving Jenman wobbling all over the ring, the ref having to save him from any more punishment.

Langford continues to rise through the rankings in the middleweight division as he works towards his aim of a title fight in the near future.
