Arlesey Town 1-1 Bideford
Bideford remain unbeaten in the Calor Southern League Premier division after a 1-1 draw at Arlesey Town on Saturday.
The Robins have now gone nine games unbeaten at the start of the season, scoring in every game so far.
And they were in front again at half time through a 25-yard Richard Groves free-kick, a lead which lasted well into the second half.
But Arlesey found a way to get back on level terms in the last 15 minutes, after a scramble in the Bideford goal mouth saw a simple chance drop to the feet of striker James Hatch.
Bideford also had to see out the game with only ten men, after Rob Farkins was dismissed for a second yellow card, but they held on for a point to go second in the league.
Even more impressively, the Robins have already equalled their 2012/13 away points tally for the entire season – nine – in just five games.
Bideford sit five points behind leaders Hemel Hempstead, who took advantage of Bideford, Poole and Chesham all dropping points by beating Weymouth 3-0.
The Robins now turn their attention back to the FA Cup, when they travel to Yate Town in the second qualifying round on Saturday.
