BIDEFORD became its own Big Top on Saturday night as the town’s annual carnival parade took on a circus theme. A topping big success it was, too, as huge crowds turned out to watch the colourful funfare of clowns and other circus characters, further enhanced by a fanfare of music from the town band, 10 pipe bands and five troupes of majorettes!
