Combe Martin Carnival 2007
AN epic week of Combe Martin Carnival celebrations has once again gone like clockwork — and all too swiftly!
Villagers and visitors from near and far delighted in the main parade, wheelbarrow and raft races as well as a host of events and activities throughout the week.
“Thank you to everyone for their support and help during the week, which made the carnival the success it was and ensured it will continue,” said chairman Sue Sussex.
“Because of the generosity and support we have given £2,200 away to local organisations this year.”
RESULTS:
Best overall float: Parracombe School, Ugly Bug Ball.
