I have to say, in all due respect, in all my years of writing I have never read such trash as that written by your correspondent TP Gidman “Church isn’t worth saving”, Opinion, July 30).
With regards to V Gerats’ letter (“Supermarket is not good for Torrington,” Opinion, August 6), I think a supermarket in the town is a great idea.
I am mystified/concerned as to why cyclists do not have bells – and when they do have them why they do not use them?
Having been visiting Fairlea Residential Home in Chope Road, Northam, regularly for nearly 40 years, I am certain that there are many folk who would like to express their appreciation to the staff who worked there, for the care given to themselves or their loved ones.
