Library celebrates successful competition to mark National Libraries Day.

ILFRACOMBE Library enjoyed a host of fantastic entries for its children’s Design a Book Cover competition held to celebrate National Libraries Day.

There were plenty of entries in two age categories with cover designs including The Pig With No Tail, The Big Cherry Tree, The Evil Witch and The Private Princess.

The winners were Imogen Luke, aged nine, with her imaginative cover What is it? Stories of Myths and Legends and Rosie Ford aged five with her cute and colourful design of My Family.

Both Girls won a library goody bag filled with books, stickers, a letter writing set and other treats.
