Two-day event promises a great day out, with up to 50 new cars on show from a range of manufacturers, as well as a host of family fun.

Lotus sports cars will be one of the main attractions when Weston-super-Mare’s Grand Pier hosts its first car show this weekend.

The two-day event on the pier has been organised by the Howards Motor Group, and will feature up to 50 new cars from a range of manufacturers, plus family activities and competitions.

Jonathan Coleman, group development manager at Howards, who recently completed the famous Le Mans 24 Hour race, said: “At Howards Motor Group we are passionate car enthusiasts, and we are looking forward to sharing our knowledge with those who visit the motor show at the Grand Pier.

“After seeing the cars showcased in What Car Magazine on the Grand Pier last spring, we thought that it would be fitting to showcase our brands on this iconic attraction.

“As well as the latest Lotus models, we will have the new Citroën C3, Honda Civic, Nissan Micra, Peugeot 3008 and Toyota C-HR on display alongside other popular models from our manufacturers.

“It is a great opportunity to compare a number of models in one location and should you wish to take things further, you can book a demonstration at one of our dealerships.

“We hope that this, alongside the great rides and games that the Pier has to offer, will make it a great day for everyone.”

Grand Pier director Michelle Michael said: “This is a great opportunity to come and view up to 50 new cars from leading manufactures in one place, here on the Grand Pier, and we are delighted Howards Motor Group chose us as the location for this unique event.

“After seeing all the new cars, anyone who feels the urge to get behind the wheel won’t be disappointed with the choice of rides here on the pier.

“These include dodgems, Formula 1 simulators, go-karts and mini-karts.

“And for youngsters who have worked up an appetite, there is our great kids eat free offer of free meals to under-10s with every paid adult meal.”

Howards Motor Group has dealerships in Weston-super-Mare Taunton, Yeovil and Dorchester. For more information, visit www.howardsgroup.co.uk
