BRAVE souls waxed lyrical through gritted teeth on Friday as they volunteered to be ‘de-fuzzed’ to help raise money for Bideford Bay Children’s Centre.
The sponsored leg wax for men and women took place at All Area Taxis in Bridgeland Street and will help support the centre’s groups for dads and young parents.
In between oaths and much swearing in tongues, the fearless volunteers helped raise more than £200, with money still coming in.
Claire Gover at Action for Children, said: “The event was fantastic success and a chance for both men and women who were brave enough to de-fuzz in time for summer as well as helping local children and families in Bideford.”
