Van driver to appear in court over fatal Tiverton collision

The 44-year-old has been reported for causing the death of Highways worker Steven Tolley on January 29, 2013.

A VAN driver has been reported for causing death by dangerous driving after a collision on the A361 Link Road at Tiverton in January 2013.

The Gazette reported South West Highways workman Steven Tolley, 48, from Tiverton was critically injured in the collision on January 29 and died six days later in hospital.

The road was closed for several hours as collision investigators worked at the scene.

The 44-year-old driver of the van, from East Cornwall, will appear before Exeter Magistrates Court at a date yet to be set.
