A devoted doggy duo that are truly inseparable are hoping to find their forever loving family this Valentine’s Day.

Staff at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe are hoping a local family will open their hearts to best pals Jiggy and Chips so they can enjoy a new home together.

Eight-year-old terrier Jiggy and nine-year-old collie Chips are completely devoted to one another and are looking for a loving partner of the human variety as they can’t bear to be separated.

Since today (Wednesday) is the most romantic day of the year, the charity is hoping their special someone is out there.

Centre manager Elise Watson said: “Jiggy and Chips are inseparable and they spend their days enjoying romantic walks together and playing fetch whilst they await their forever home.

“We’re hoping they will find their special someone just in time for Valentine’s Day.

“They really are the best of friends and would make a wonderful addition to the right family home.”

She added: “Their ideal fresh start will be with an active family of dog lovers who enjoy getting out and about and exploring new places.

“They have lived with children and cats previously so could possibly live with them again depending on compatibility during introductions at the centre.

“They would be a great addition to any family and we really do hope that someone falls for them this Valentine’s Day.”
