A 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital after the collision in Exeter Road, Braunton.

A 14-YEAR-OLD girl has been taken to North Devon District Hospital this morning after she was involved in a collision with a car in Braunton.

The incident involving a white Hyundai i20 occurred at around 8.45am at the Barton Lane junction of Exeter Road.

The girl suffered a suspected broken ankle and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The road was cleared by 10am.
