POLICE have appealed for help to find a missing Gloucestershiore teenager who may be in the North Devon area.

Michaela Paige-Cheesman, 17, went missing on Friday morning from her home in Cirencester and there is concern for her safety.

She is believed to be driving a silver Mini Cooper, with registration WR09 FUH and two black stripes on the bonnet.

Police have evidence her car was seen driving into Cornwall across the Tamar Bridge at 5.35 am on Friday and believe she may be in the area as she has enjoyed family holidays at different resorts in Cornwall and North Devon.

Michaela is described as white, five feet eight inches tall, thin, left -handed, with blue eyes, shoulder length brown hair and a pale complexion. It is not known what she was wearing.

Anyone who has seen Michaela or her car is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 406 of 01/08/2014.

If they would prefer to speak to Gloucestershire Police, dial 101 and wait until the option for Gloucestershire Police is presented.
