Police are treating the death as ‘unexplained’.
THE BODY of a man has been discovered at a house in Newport, Barnstaple this morning (Wednesday).
Police were called to the scene in Water Lane at around 11.40am.
A police spokesman said the body of a man, believed to be in his early 60s, was discovered in the house.
Police are treating the death as unexplained and are making enquiries.
Update: 3.15pm – Police said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.
