A man was airlifted to hospital with a suspected broken arm after falling from the coastpath above White Pebble Beach at the Torrs in Ilfracombe yesterday (Monday).

The 40-year-old was winched up to the Chivenor search and rescue helicopter after South Western Ambulance Service called for assistance at around 1.10pm. Ilfracombe and Mortehoe coastguard teams were also on hand.
