Update: Elderly woman dies after car crashes into wall at Holsworthy

Family have been informed after driver suffers suspected medical episode before Friday morning collision.

AN elderly woman has died after her car crashed into a wall at Holsworthy this morning (Friday).

Police said it is suspected the local woman had suffered a medical episode prior to the crash in Bude Road at around 9.30am.

The car is registered to Holsworthy and they said next of kin had been informed.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the scene at around 9.30am and paramedics treated the woman at the scene.

The road was partially closed for a time but has since reopened.
