Two women taken to hospital after Link Road crash

One woman was airlifted to hospital while another was taken by ambulance after being cut from car near South Molton.
A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital yesterday evening (Sunday) after a collision on the A361 Link Road at Bish Mill.
Two women had to be cut from the blue Ford Focus by fire fighters after the collision at around 5.30pm.
The passenger in the blue Ford Focus, who was in her 30s and from Combe Martin, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with back injuries.
The driver, in her 60s and from Bristol, was taken to North Devon District Hospital by land ambulance.
A police spokesman said neither of the women’s injuries were thought to be life threatening or life changing.
Officers remained on scene to clear the west-bound carriageway, which was reopened at around 1.30am.
