TWO heavy horses have been sprucing up the grounds at RHS Rosemoor by removing more than 100 dead spruce trees.
The gardens hired Tom and Joey’s traditional horse logging skills to minimise the damage to the surrounding woodland.
The trees died after an attack of spruce beetle in the garden’s lower woodland.
Weather permitting, Tom and Joey will be at work on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next few weeks.
