Bideford college student chops off his wild mane for the Chemotherapy Appeal.

A BIDEFORD teen has shaved off his ‘fro to raise money for the Chemotherapy Appeal on Saturday.

Last week the Gazette reported 15-year-old Tristan Beer decided to chop off his wild mane in memory of his late grandfathers.

His mum Carleen Evans said she was extremely proud to watch him have his head shaved in Bideford salon Steven & Laurent.

Tristan wanted to thank all his family and friends for sponsoring him, and to Steven & Laurent who donated £100 as well as cutting off his hair.
