Suspects sought after break-in at Swiss Cottage Cafe in Ilfracombe

Police are keen to identify and speak to two people seen in Ilfracombe High Street during the early hours of Monday

Ilfracombe police have appealed for witnesses after a burglary at Swiss Cottage Café in the High Street.

It happened between 2.40-45am on Monday (September 18) and the two suspects were disturbed before they could steal anything but police said damage was caused to the property.

Officers are keen to identify and speak with two people seen in the area at the time - the first is described as a male of slim build approximately five feet five inches tall and wearing a grey hoodie and jeans. The second is also described as male of slim build and approximately 5’5 tall but was wearing a black track suit.
