Event organised by the Bideford Bridge Rotary Club will take in the views of Exmoor and Dartmoor.

BOOKINGS are racing ahead for the annual Two Moors 100 sportive on July 20 and there’s still time to get involved.

The event, which has been running for seven years and is organised by the Bideford Bridge Rotary Club, will take in 100 miles of scenery over Exmoor and Dartmoor.

Members of the Odds & Old Sods are already out training for the fundraising event.

Last year the team alone raised nearly £2,500 for Children’s Hospice South West, while the organisers, Bideford Bridge Rotary club, raised a further £5000 plus for local charities.

Don Adams, of the Rotary Club, said: “Bookings are flowing in for this sportive that is ideal for both seasoned riders who relish testing their endurance and improving their times on the 100mile route over the Exmoor and Dartmoor hills, plus new riders who can choose the 100km (60 mile) course, both through some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.

“Many entrants take advantage of the area’s beaches, moors and tourist attractions by coming with their family and friends over the weekend to enjoy the surrounding area of North Devon.”
