Sticklepath Hill reopened after temporary closure following collision between a motorbike and a Mercedes

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car on Sticklepath Hill this afternoon (Thursday).

The collision caused police to temporarily close the A3125 near Old Torrington Road following a collision between the bike and a Mercedes car. It reopened just before 5pm.

A second collision has occurred near Barnstaple Long Bridge.

Traffic is reportedly slow at the top of Sticklepath Hill going towards the town centre, with traffic being redirected along The Strand.

Devon County Council Highways is in attendance to deal with petrol on the road.
