There is still time to dig your walking boots out of the cupboard and sign up for this year’s StarTrek Challenge.

The 26th annual night-time walk on Exmoor organised by both Ilfracombe Rotary clubs will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4 at an as-yet-undisclosed location to raise money for North Devon Hospice and Children’s Hospice South West.

Teams of walkers will be taking on the full 16 mile or eight mile half trek challenges across a variety of terrain, testing their map reading and orienteering skills.

There is still time for groups of friends, companies or organisations to submit a team – see below for details.

They will be well supported by a huge network of around 100 volunteers, with radio coverage, search and rescue teams on hand and plenty of manned checkpoints on the moor to help out as needed.
