Appeal for witnesses after raids on Clearview TVs and Design Studio.

TWO burglaries in one night at South Molton businesses have prompted an appeal for witnesses.

Police are linking raids on Clearview TV Services and Design Studio, which occurred overnight on Monday and Tuesday, January 6-7.

The first at Clearview in Mill Street saw some £1,110 in televisions stolen, including 40 and 32-inch Toshiba models, a 26 and a 19-inch Philips, as well as £200 in cash. Police said thieves had removed the front door lock to gain entry.

Entry was also gained into Design Studio in North Street, where the offenders made an ‘untidy search’ before making off with a Mac Pro plus an iMac computer, as well as a Canon digital camera.

Anyone who witnessed anything is asked to call PC Graham Jones via the 101 number, quoting CS/14/6 for Clearview and CS/14/7 for Design Studio.
