Sound night’s sleep for competition winner

Barnstaple bed and carpet celebrates 50 years in the business.

COMPETITION winner Robert Allin is sure to have a sound night’s sleep after picking up £500 prize money from a Barnstaple bed specialist.

Mr Allin, from Westward Ho!, was one of 300 people to enter a competition held by Bed Kingdom and Kings Carpets to celebrate 50 years in business.

Visitors to the showroom at Pottington Business Park were asked to guess the age of a Morris Minor on display in the showroom.

The car was in fact first registered in 1958 and has been owned by MD Martin Harvey and his family for many years.
