Brend hotel is up for the national Hotel of the Year title in the Best Loved Hotels Awards 2017/18

Saunton Sands Hotel has been named best hotel in the West Country in a national competition.

It has been named regional winner of the Best Loved Hotels Awards 2017/18 and nominated for the Overall Hotel of the Year title.

The four star Brend hotel has also been shortlisted for the hotel group category.

Director Peter Brend was delighted that Saunton Sands had won the regional award.

He said: “It’s a tremendous accolade and a real tribute to the dedication of our team who work so hard to give every guest a memorable stay.

“I’m also thrilled that Brend Hotels are in the running for the Hotel Group title. Awards and nominations like these mean a great deal to all of us – especially when they are based on customer comments.”

The awards for Best Loved Hotel will take place on November 13 at The Tewkesbury Park Hotel in Gloucestershire.
