A century of Santas took to the streets of Barnstaple on Sunday for the 2013 North Devon Santa Fun Run.

More than 100 people braved the wet and windy conditions to don the traditional red suit and take part in the annual event, which raises money for North Devon Hospice.

The runners gathered at Barnstaple Town Football Club in Mill Road and their route took them along the Tarka Traiul, into town and through the High Street.

The three kilometre event was won by sisters Sam and Emma Lewis, while the five event saw Jack Blackburn first, Mark Maton second and Richard Chumbley third.
