Russell Watson aka ‘The Voice’ will be performing at the Queen’s Theatre in Barnstaple next year.

The four-time Brit Classical award winner will be appearing for one night only on June 22, 2018.

The world-renowned tenor will be performing songs from his new album True Stories, together with a selection of hits from his illustrious career, accompanied by his pianist and a guest choir.

Russell has made his way from obscurity to selling more than seven million albums and performing for Her Majesty the Queen, the Pope and two US presidents.

Mark Thompson, regional general manager for Parkwood Theatres said: “We’re delighted to be bringing arguably one of the most talented artists, Russell Watson, to North Devon in 2018.

“I’ve been lucky enough to watch Russell perform in our other venues and it’s an evening of entertainment that really shouldn’t be missed by all.

“Russell has a way of filling a room with magic simply from the power of his voice and the spectacular performance that he delivers all around the world.”
