BIDEFORD rotary club have celebrated a successful fundraising year with a comical fancy dress party.

The club has raised £1000 for the North Devon Chemotherapy Appeal, as well as donating cardiac rehabilitation equipment to Bideford Hospital’s physiotherapy department.

Cheques have also been presented to the RNLI Lifeboat, Devon Air Ambulance, Help for Heroes, Shelterbox and Harbour Project.

Rotary club president Richard Williams celebrated the club’s efforts in an ape costume for the evening.
