Major diversions in place for Torrington to Barnstaple route

A SECTION of the B3232 between Torrington and Barnstaple will be closed for five days from Monday (October 24) for essential drainage repairs.

The road will be closed from Rooty Cross to Stoneylands Bridge to enable a collapsed drain to be replaced.

Contractors will also be carrying out additional maintenance, including patching, within the closed section of road. A diversion will be in place from the Roundswell roundabout via the A361 Bishops Tawton, A377 Weir Marsh, Umberleigh and B3227 Torrington.

Drivers will be able to access Hunters Inn at Newton Tracey as well as South Down Adventure and Survival Paintball at Huntshaw Cross from the Torrington end of the closure.
