A NUMBER of visitors attended the Shopmobility Centre in Barnstaple today (Tuesday) to celebrate its Ring & Ride service’s 21st birthday.

Regular passengers as well as volunteers enjoyed tea and cakes at the Community Transport Day – including a special 21st birthday cake donated by Crumb Creations.

The Ring & Ride service, run by Go North Devon, offers those who struggle to leave the house the freedom to enjoy a door-to-door service taking them into Barnstaple

The day also gave visitors a chance to collect the 6th free edition of the North Devon Transport & Travel Guide.

Visitors can pop down to the centre until 3pm today.
