Internet superdog Ragamuffin is aiming to be a singing sensation this Christmas - with the help of schoolchildren from Ilfracombe and Woolacombe.

The star of The Adventures of Ragamuffin performed his seasonal song, Ragamuffin’s Reindeer Rock, at Ashford’s Wyevale Garden Centre near Barnstaple on Saturday.

The centre was been transformed into a winter wonderland in time for Ragamuffin to bark his winter’s tail.

The backing boys and girls also got the chance to show off their singing and acting skills to top television director Paul Cole, who directed the event.

Paul is the man behind such telly hits as Rainbow, Potamus Park and The Tweenies.

Ragamuffin is the best friend of Ilfracombe producer Fiona Lewis and has his own YouTube channel, Ragamuffin Lewis, as well as his own blog The Adventures of Ragamuffin Lewis and his own Facebook page.
