The trials bike, which could be a man’s or boy’s model, was recovered during a theft act warrant last week.

POLICE are appealing to trace the owner of a bike recovered during a warrant in Barnstaple which they believe was stolen.

The bike, which is described a man’s or boy’s trials bike is not available to buy in the local area and is thought to be ‘easily recognisable’ to the owner.

PCSO Hannah Denton said the bike was recovered last week after a theft act warrant was executed and looked to be brand new.

She said: “Officers believe the bike was stolen and are appealing for anyone who thinks it might be theirs to call 101 and ask for Sgt Jim Kidd.”
